What's your best way to start your day?
With a few days to go until 2020, busyness at work, Christmas gatherings, social time and birthdays are racking up! I've been noticing that I'm becoming more aware and sensitive to how I spend my time.
And how I kickstart the day almost predicts how it goes.

Plan out the day, check the night before. And that goes...
What are my three priorities for the day?
What must I get done?
Start with that. It's so tempting to let the calendar events, urgencies and the thousands things you might have to do drive how you spend your time - in reaction mode.
Own your day and how you spend your time before it owns you and your time.
What if you feel uninspired to have that conversation, write that report, do that proposal, etc?
Set a 15 min timer, repeat what your goal is for the day, have a brief reset by doing something else for a bit (go for a walk, or do some deep breathing) that you know won't drag you into procrastination.
